Turkey’s capacity utilization rate of the manufacturing industry recorded a rise in November

Capacity Utilization Rises in November

 According to the data published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), Turkey’s capacity utilization rate of the manufacturing industry climbed by 0.4 percentage points on a monthly basis and reached 75.8 percent as of November 2020.

The manufacturing of wood, except for furniture manufacturing, took the lead with the highest capacity usage with 83.1 percent in November, beating 19 other sectors. Meanwhile, the beverages sector had the lowest capacity usage with 54.6 percent.

As for the main industrial groups, intermediate goods recorded the highest capacity usage with 77.6 percent, and non-durable consumer goods were seen to record the lowest capacity utilization with 72.6 percent in November. ​​
