Milk and Milk Products, July 2020 in Turkey
The amount of collected cow’s milk in July increased by 3.1% when compared to the same month of the previous year. In January-July period increased by 3.6% when compared to the same period of the previous year.
In July, the average fat rate of cow’s milk collected by integrated dairies was 3.5%, the average rate of protein was 3.3%.

In July, drinking milk production by integrated dairies increased by 12.3% and became 111 thousand 96 tonnes when compared to the same month of the previous year. In January-July period, drinking milk production increased by 12% and became 952 thousand 907 tonnes when compared to the same period of the previous year.
In July, yoghurt production by integrated dairies decreasing by 2.5% and became 104 thousand 490 tonnes when compared to the same month of the previous year. In January-July period, decreased by 2.5% and became 638 thousand 733 tonnes when compared to the same period of the previous year.
In July, while whole milk powder production increasing by 59.6%, skimmed milk powder production increasing by 38.1%, cheese production from cow’s milk increasing by 12.1%, butter production increasing by 6.6% and cream production increasing by 2.7%, drink made of yoghurt (ayran) production decreased by 1% and mixed milk cheese (cheese production obtained from which includes sheep, goat, buffalo and mixed milk) decreased by 12.1% when compared to the same month of the previous year.
