There is no obligation to be a manufacturer. Any taxpayer can sell goods and services to the free zone from Türkiye.

In order to issue an export registered sales invoice, it is necessary to be a manufacturer and have a capacity report and industrial registry certificate.

QUESTION

…I’m working for an airline company. In accordance with article 17 of the notice published on 6th of October 2018 regarding the decision numbered 32 about Protection of the Value of Turkish Currency, can we accept all purchase agreements in foreign currency except for real estate selling, leasing and labor agreements without considering if the service provider abides by the exceptions?

The intended who has receivables of TRY 2.000.000 from his customer couldn’t collect them. Execution process will be commenced on January 2019 by instigating a warning.

 

Question 1-  Can we add TRY 2.000.000 of the receivable to provisions after the start of execution?

Question 2- Can we add the total amount of TRY 2.000.000 to expense? Or do we have to add it as VAT? If so, what is the procedure to follow?

1-Provisions are made after opening an execution file.

2-Provisions are made for the total amount of receivables (VAT included).
