The current-account deficit increased to $481.2 billion (3,9 percent increase)  in 2016.  The deficit was 2.6 percent of current-dollar GDP in 2016, the same percentage as in 2015. (21.03.2017)

February exports were $192.9 billion, $0.4 billion more than January exports. February imports were $236.4 billion, $4.3 billion less than January imports.
