Within the total, cars represented 54.1%, followed by small trucks 16.4%, motorcycles 14.3%, tractors 8.2%, trucks 3.7%, minibuses 2.1%, buses 0.9% and special purpose vehicles 0.3%.
In September, 52 456 road motor vehicle registrations were recorded
Within 52 thousand 456 vehicle registrations in September, cars accounted for 54.8%, followed by motorcycles 27.5%, small trucks 9.3% and tractors 5%. Minibuses, buses, trucks and special purpose vehicles constituted 3.4% of new registrations.
The number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 34.1% compared with the previous month
In September, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 34.1% compared with the previous month. Cars, minibuses, buses, small trucks, trucks, motorcycles, special purpose vehicles and tractors increased by 47.7%, 173.7%, 116.1%, 33.2% 34.5%, 10.4%, 4.7% and 36% respectively.
The number of road motor vehicles registered increased by 16% compared with the same month of the previous year
In September, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 16% compared with the same month of the previous year. Cars, minibuses and motorcycles increased by 37.1%, 0.2% and 8.5%, while buses, small trucks, trucks, special purpose vehicles and tractors decreased by 20.7%, 5.3%, 10%, 61.2% and 30.3% respectively.
In the period of January-September, the total number of road motor vehicles in traffic increased by 260 316
While 212 thousand 84 road motor vehicles were withdrawn, 472 thousand 400 road motor vehicles were added in January-September period. Hence, the total number of road motor vehicles registered increased by 260 thousand 316.
821 147 road motor vehicles handed over in September
Among 821 thousand 147 vehicles handed over(1), cars accounted for 71.4% followed by small trucks 15.6%, motorcycles 5.1% and tractors 2.9%. Minibuses, buses, trucks and special purpose vehicles constituted 5% of the handed over motor vehicles in September.
The ratio of cars registered using diesel was 37.7%
At the end of September, among 12 million 509 thousand 319 registered cars, the share of diesel-fuelled cars was 37.7% followed by LPG-fuelled cars with 37.7% and gasoline-fuelled cars with 24.3%. The share of electric or hybrid cars is 0.1% and the cars with unknown(2) fuel type was 0.3%.
In September, 28 744 cars were registered to the traffic
In terms of the distribution of trademarks for the 28 thousand 744 new registered cars in September, Volkswagen recorded 14.3%, Renault 13.2%, Fiat 10.4%, Toyota 7.6%, Honda 5.5%, Skoda 4.9%, Hyundai 4.7%, Opel 4%, Mercedes-Benz 3.9%, Ford 3.8% and the other trademarks 27.8% of the total.
Most frequent engine size was 1501-1600 for registered cars
Within 257 thousand 586 cars registered to traffic in January-September period, 38.7% of them had engine size 1501-1600, 28.2% had 1401-1500, 13.3% had 1301-1400, 12.3% had 1300 or less, 6.3% had 1601-2000, 1.2% had 2001 and above engine size.
Most frequent colour was white for registered cars
Within 257 thousand 586 cars registered to traffic in January-September period, 53.7% of them were white, 24.1% were grey, 7% were black, 5.6% were red and 9.6% were in other colours.
