Among 681 thousand 359 vehicles handed over(1), cars accounted for 70.2% followed by small trucks 16.3%, motorcycles 4.5% and tractors 3.3%. Minibuses, buses, trucks and special purpose vehicles constituted 5.7% of the handed over motor vehicles in March.
The ratio of cars registered using LPG was 38.2%
At the end of March, among 12 million 194 thousand 330 registered cars, the share of LPG-fuelled cars was 38.2% followed by diesel-fuelled cars with 35.8% and gasoline-fuelled cars with 25.7%. The ratio of the cars with unknown(2) fuel type was 0.3%.
In March, 55 409 cars were registered to the traffic
In terms of the distribution of trademarks for the 55 thousand 409 new registered cars in March, Renault recorded 15.7%, Volkswagen 10.1%, Fiat 7%, Hyundai 6.4%, Peugeot 6%, Skoda 5.7%, Toyota 5.5%, Dacia 5.5%, Opel 5.3%, Ford 5.1% and the other trademarks 27.8% of the total.
Most frequent engine size was 1501-1600 for registered cars
Within 166 thousand 77 cars registered to traffic in January-March period, 44% of them had engine size 1501-1600, 27.2% had 1401-1500, 12.3% had 1301-1400, 11.8% had 1300 or less, 3.9% had 1601-2000, 0.8% had 2001 and above engine size.
Most frequent colour was white for registered cars
Within 166 thousand 77 cars registered to traffic in January-March period, 58.2% of them were white, 20.6% were grey, 7.2% were black, 5.1% were red and 9% were in other colours.
