At the end of January, the total number of road motor vehicles registered reached 21 211 701
The total number of road motor vehicles registered to the traffic reached 21 million 211 thousand 701 by the end of January. Within the total, cars represented 53.8%, followed by small trucks 16.4%, motorcycles 14.2%, tractors 8.3%, trucks 3.9%, minibuses 2.2%, buses 1% and special purpose vehicles 0.2%.

In January, 128 648 road motor vehicle registrations were recorded
Within 128 thousand 648 vehicle registrations in January, cars accounted for 65.8%, followed by small trucks 22.3%, motorcycles 4.2% and tractors 3.3%. Minibuses, buses, trucks and special purpose vehicles constituted 4.4% of new registrations.

The number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 26.9% compared with the previous month
In January, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 26.9% compared with the previous month. Cars, minibuses, buses, small trucks and special purpose vehicles increased by 29%, 20.7%, 41.1%, 85.6% and 75.3% respectively. Trucks, motorcycles and tractors decreased by 12.5%, 27.1% and 45.6%.

The number of road motor vehicles registered increased by 15.9% compared with the same month of the previous year  
In January, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 15.9% compared with the same month of the previous year. Cars, small trucks, motorcycles, special purpose vehicles and tractors increased by 23.6%, 14.3%, 5.6%, 63.3% and 8.2% respectively. Minibuses, buses and trucks decreased by 26.2%, 10% and 49.1%.

In January, the total number of road motor vehicles in traffic increased by
121 277

While 7 thousand 371 road motor vehicles were withdrawn, 128 thousand 648 road motor vehicles were added in January. Hence, the total number of road motor vehicles registered increased by 121 thousand 277.

509 165 road motor vehicles handed over in January
Among 509 thousand 165 vehicles handed over(1), cars accounted for 70.7% followed by small trucks 17.2%, tractors 3.4% and motorcycles 3%. Minibuses, buses, trucks and special purpose vehicles constituted 5.7% of the handed over motor vehicles in January.

The ratio of cars registered using LPG was 39.1%
At the end of January, among 11 million 401 thousand 452 registered cars, the share of LPG-fuelled cars was 39.1% followed by diesel-fuelled cars with 33.8% and gasoline-fuelled cars with 26.7%. The ratio of the cars with unknown(2) fuel type was 0.4%.

In January, 84 626 cars were registered to the traffic
In terms of the distribution of trademarks for the 84 thousand 626 new registered cars in January, Renault recorded 18.5%, Volkswagen 12.2%, Fiat 8.6%, Opel 7.9%, Hyundai 6.9%, Dacia 6.1%, Toyota 6.1%, Ford 5.6%, Nissan 4.8%, Honda 3.9% and the other trademarks 19.2% of the total.

Most frequent engine size was 1501-1600 for registered cars
Within 84 thousand 626 cars registered to traffic in January, 40.9% of them had engine size 1501-1600, 28.5% had 1401-1500, 13.7% had 1301-1400, 13.1% had 1300 or less, 2.9% had 1601-2000, 0.9% had 2001 and above engine size.

Most frequent colour was white for registered cars
Within 84 thousand 626 cars registered to traffic in January, 61.9% of them were white, 15.4% were grey, 7.1% were black, 5.2% were red and 10.4% were in other colours.
