At the end of April, the total number of road motor vehicles registered reached 23 008 927The total number of road motor vehicles registered to the traffic reached 23 million 8 thousand 927 by the end of April. Within the total, cars represented 54.2%, followed by small trucks 16.4%, motorcycles 14.1%, tractors 8.2%, trucks 3.7%, minibuses 2.1%, buses 1% and special purpose vehicles 0.3%.

In April, 54 322 road motor vehicle registrations were recorded

Within 54 thousand 322 vehicle registrations in April, cars accounted for 55.1%, followed by motorcycles 25.4%, small trucks 11.4% and tractors 4.6%. Minibuses, buses, trucks and special purpose vehicles constituted 3.5% of new registrations.

The number of road motor vehicle registrations decreased by 7.5% compared with the previous month

In April, the number of road motor vehicle registrations decreased by 7.5% compared with the previous month. Cars, minibuses, buses, small trucks and motorcycles decreased by 8.5%, 44.7%, 22.6%, 18.2% and 1.1% respectively. Trucks, special purpose vehicles and tractors increased by 10.7%, 59% and 5.2%.

In April, the number of road motor vehicle registrations decreased by 44.2% compared with the same month of the previous year. Cars, minibuses, buses, small trucks, trucks, motorcycles and tractors decreased by 45.7%, 76.5%, 56.7%, 50%, 60.9%, 28.5% and 56% respectively. Special purpose vehicles increased by 95.3%.

In the period of January-April, the total number of road motor vehicles in traffic increased by 143 006

While 70 thousand 535 road motor vehicles were withdrawn, 213 thousand 541 road motor vehicles were added in January-April period. Hence, the total number of road motor vehicles registered increased by 143 thousand 6.

661 504 road motor vehicles handed over in April

Among 661 thousand 504 vehicles handed over⁽¹⁾, cars accounted for 70.8% followed by small trucks 16.3%, motorcycles 5% and tractors 3%. Minibuses, buses, trucks and special purpose vehicles constituted 4.9% of the handed over motor vehicles in April.

The ratio of cars registered using LPG was 37.7%

At the end of April, among 12 million 475 thousand 682 registered cars, the share of LPG-fuelled cars was 37.7% followed by diesel-fuelled cars with 37.2% and gasoline-fuelled cars with 24.7%. The share of electric or hybrid cars was 0.1% and the cars with unknown⁽²⁾ fuel type was 0.3%.

In April, 29 927 cars were registered to the traffic

In terms of the distribution of trademarks for the 29 thousand 927 new registered cars in April, Fiat recorded 18%, Renault 16.1%, Volkswagen 8.7%, Peugeot 6.9%, Hyundai 6%, Toyota 5.4%, Ford 5.1%, Dacia 4.2%, Honda 4%, Nissan 3.8% and the other trademarks 21.9% of the total.

Most frequent engine size was 1501-1600 for registered cars

Within 125 thousand 510 cars registered to traffic in January-April period, 38.1% of them had engine size 1501-1600, 27.2% had 1401-1500, 16.8% had 1301-1400, 11.3% had 1300 or less, 5.4% had 1601-2000, 1% had 2001 and above engine size.

Most frequent colour was white for registered cars

Within 125 thousand 510 cars registered to traffic in January-April period, 53.4% of them were white, 23.6% were grey, 7.2% were black, 5.6% were red and 10.2% were in other colours.
