Producer Price Index of Agricultural Products, September 2019, in Turkey
Compared to the previous month; agriculture and hunting products increased by 1.66%, forestry products decreased by 1.91% and fishing increased by 1,95%.
The highest monthly increase was in perennial crops
Regarding monthly changes by main groups; perennial crops increased by 8.85%, non-perennial crops decreased by 0.04 % and live animals and animal products decreased by 0.41%.
The vegetables from sub-agriculture groups decreased by 3.11%
From sub-agriculture groups; there were increases for tropical and subtropical fruits by 4.92%, for pome fruits and stone fruits by 3.16%, for rice (in hulk) by 2,73% and for poultry, live and eggs by 0.30%, however, there was a decrease for dairy cattle, live and raw milk from dairy cattle by 0.74%.
In September 2019, 84 items included in the Agriculture PPI; while 2 new items included this month, prices of 39 items increased, prices of 37 items decreased and prices of 6 items remained unchanged with respect to previous month.
