Milk collected by integrated dairies was 794 thousand 111 tons
The amount of collected cow’s milk in March decreased by 4.8% when compared to the same month of the previous year.

Drinking milk production by integrated dairies became 138 thousand 319 tons in March and increased by 3.8% when compared to the same month of the previous year. Cheese production from cow’s milk was 57 thousand 585 tones and increased by 1.9% when compared to the same month of the previous year. Cheese production from sheep, goat, buffalo and mixed milk was 2 thousand 270 tones and increased  by 8.4% when compared to the same month of the previous year.

Yoghurt production became 97 thousand 740 tons in March and decreased by 0.5% when compared to same month of the previous year. Drink made of yoghurt production became 62 thousand 697 tons and increased by 7.5% when compared to the same month of the previous year.

In March the average fat rate of cow’s milk collected by integrated dairies was 3.5%, the average rate of protein was 3.3%.

Seasonal and calendar adjusted amount of collected cow’s milk in March when compared to the previous month decreased by 0.7%. Calendar adjusted amount of collected cow’s milk in March when compared to the same month of the previous year decreased by 4.8%.
