Domestic Producer Price Index, February 2020 in Turkey
Domestic producer price index (D-PPI) increased by 9.26% on annual basis, increased by 0.48% on monthly basis
D-PPI (2003=100) increased by 0.48% on monthly basis, increased by 2.33% on December of the previous year basis, increased by 9.26% on same month of the previous year basis and increased by 14.18% on the twelve months moving averages basis in February 2020.

Manufacturing increased by 8.52% annually
D-PPI in four main sectors of industry increased by 12.26% for mining and stone quarrying, increased by 8.52% for manufacturing, increased by 19.24% for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, increased by 5.27% for water supply, annually.
The indices of main industrial groups; increased by 6.46% for intermediate goods, increased by 10.40% for durable consumer goods, increased by 12.77% for non-durable consumer goods, increased by 12.34% for energy, increased by 9.55% for capital goods, annually.

Manufacturing increased by 0.66% monthly
D-PPI in four main sectors of industry increased by 1.44% for mining and stone quarrying, increased by 0.66% for manufacturing, decreased by 2.38% for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, decreased by 0.07% for water supply, monthly.
The indices of main industrial groups; increased by 1.29% for intermediate goods, increased by 1.30% for durable consumer goods, increased by 0.94% for non-durable consumer goods, decreased by 4.17% for energy, increased by 0.93% for capital goods, monthly.

The lowest annual increase was in paper and paper products by 0.14%
The lowest rates of annual increase in D-PPI by subdivisions of industry were the indices for paper and paper products by 0.14%, for wearing apparel by 1.48%, for coal and lignite by 1.52%. On the other hand the highest rates of annual increase in D-PPI by sub divisions of industry were for tobacco products by 51.88%, for basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutic preparations by 20.05%, for metal ores by 19.96%.

The highest monthly decrease was in coke and refined petroleum products by 8.96%
The highest rates of monthly decrease in D-PPI by subdivisions of industry were index for coke and refined petroleum products by 8.96%, for tobacco products by 7.62%, for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning by 2.38%. On the other hand the highest rates of monthly increase in D-PPI by sub divisions of industry were metal ores by 3.36%, for basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutic preparations by 3.16%, for basic metals by 2.30%.
