If our employee takes unpaid leave for 1 year, will it cause a problem for the SSI? (In Turkey)

One of our employees demands to take unpaid leave from September 2019 until the end of June 2020. If we allow him/her to take this unpaid leave, will it cause a problem legally and in terms of SSI?

 If there is a written agreement between the employee and the employer, there will not be any problem with taking this unpaid leave.
