In August 2019, 34 148 ownership of the houses changed by mortgage sales
The mortgaged house sales throughout Turkey became 34 148 by increasing 168% compared to the same month of the previous year. House sales with mortgage had a 30.9% share of all house sales in Turkey. Most of house sales with mortgage was in İstanbul with 4 382 sales. İstanbul was the first province in Turkey ranking that has most house sales with mortgage share with 12.8%. Mortgaged house sales had the highest share in Bilecik with 43.8% of all house sales.
Ownership of 76 390 houses changed by other sales
Other house sales in Turkey became 76 390 by decreasing 17.3% compared to the same month of the previous year. In the other sales, İstanbul was the first province with 11 499 sales and 15.1% share. Other house sales had 72.4% share of all house sales in İstanbul. Ankara was the second province with 6 488 sales. Ankara was followed by İzmir with 3 802 sales. The least other house sales was realized in Hakkari with 15 house sales.

Ownership of 69 904 houses changed by second-hand sales
Second hand house sales in Turkey became 69 904 by increasing 25.3% compared to the same month of the previous year. In the second hand sales, İstanbul was the first province again with 9 880 sales and 14.1% share. Share of the second hand sales was 62.2% in İstanbul in total house sales. Ankara was the second province with 7 600 sales and Ankara was followed by İzmir with 4 031 sales.
In August 2019, 3 604 houses were sold to foreigners
In house sales to foreigners became 3 604 by decreasing 6.8% compared to the same month of the previous year. İstanbul was the first province with 1 549 sales in August 2019. The followers of İstanbul were Antalya with 656 house sales, Bursa with 228 house sales, Ankara with 213 house sales and Yalova with 169 house sales.
Most house sales were made to Iraq citizens according to country nationalities
Iraq citizens bought 675 houses from Turkey in August. The followers of Iraq were Iran with 469 house sales, Russia with 212 house sales, Kuwait with 159 house sales and Germany with 149 house sales.
