EU increases visa prices

Negotiations between the European Union and the European Parliament on visa rules have come to an end.

The EU and Parliament have agreed on increasing the visa price from 60 euros to 80 euros.

The decision will affect people from over 100 countries.

Researchers, teenagers younger than 18 and children younger than 6 will be exempt from the price.

Travelers will have to apply for visa 6 months before their visit.

The decision will take effect after the official approval of the European Parliament and the European Council.
