Can we sell our export-listed goods to a domestic intermediary firm?

Is it possible for our taxpayer to buy an export-listed product from a manufacturer and to also sell the export-listed product to an export company?
In other words, is it possible to sell the export-listed product to an intermediary rather than an export company?

Taxpayer who buys export-listed goods has to export himself. The method you described is not applicable.

Societe Generale to cut 1600 jobs

France’s third biggest bank is planning on cutting 1600 jobs worldwide after its weak financial performance last year.

The Bank aims to increase its profit through such measure.

It will lay off 750 employees in France and all redundancies will be made voluntary.

SocGen announced in February that it would cut 500 million euros in costs after a market downturn highly affected its fourth quarter balance sheet.

Coca Cola’s iconic bottle will be up for bid in Morphy Auction this month.

The 104-year-old bottle is expected to enter the auction at $150,000.

Coca Cola’s deposit bottle was introduced in 1917 in the U.S. It is the first commercial good to have appeared on Times Magazine, in 1950. The bottle became the iconic figüre of Coca Cola, being featured in the artworks of Andy Warhol and Salvador Dali.

McDonald’s buys artificial intelligence

McDonald’s is buying Dynamic Yield, an Israeli artificial intelligence Israeli start-up, to adapt the menu depending on the weather, time of day and traffic.

The company stated that the new technology would also offer items from the menu according to the customer’s order.

The acquisition was worth more than $300 million, The Wall Street Journal reported.

Dynamic Yield currently has offices in Tel Aviv and New York.

Germania airline goes bankrupt

Berlin-based airline company Germania has filed for bankruptcy, blaming rising fuel prices and currency fluctuations.

The airline canceled all of its flights, effective immediately.

Managing director Karsten Balke stated ‘’ We ultimately failed to successfully complete our financing efforts to meet short-term liquidity needs. We very much regret that, as a consequence, we had no choice but to file for bankruptcy.’’

Goldman Sachs fined for reporting failures

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) stated on its website that Goldman Sachs International (GSI) has been fined £49 million for its failure in providing ‘accurate and timely’ reporting relating to 220.2 million transaction reports as of November 2007 to March 2017.

Goldman Sachs agreed to solve the case and therefore qualified for a 30% discount, making the fine £34.3 million.
