Can a full-time employee agree with his/her employer to work part-time? Should a new employment contract be concluded if the employee can work part-time? (In Turkey)
The employee working with one of our taxpayers with an employment contract and in the system he/she has 30-day social security. The employer and the employee have agreed and after that employee will work part-time for 10 days each month. 1- Should the employer conclude a new contract for the employee, or should an addition be made to the old contract? 2- Employment transactions have been made in the system as full-time, so should any notice be submitted to Social Security Insurance?
A new employment contract should be concluded due to the fact that the working time and wages have changed.
Change of working type is approved with a petition of the worker and part-time working notification should be made in monthly premium and service certificate.
