Shoppers broke an all-time online sales records on Black Friday by more than $1 billion, spending upto 1 million dollars per minute according to Shopify.
According to the Conference Board, customer confidence is at its highest point in 17 years.
At the 100 largest U.S. online retailers, sales reached $7.9 billion on Black Friday and Thanksgiving. According to Adobe Analytics, this is a nearly 18 percent increase since 2016. Customers spent a record-high $5 billion on Black Friday, compared to $3.34 billion last year. Also spending $2.87 billion online on Thanksgiving, setting another record. According to Criteo, 40 percent of Black Friday online sales were made on mobile devices.
