An EU grant agreement for implementation of the Adriatic Canyoning project, envisaging the construction of an adventure park near Herceg Novi, has been signed in Split.
According to a press release issued by the Office of the Mayor of Herceg Novi, this city and the Bay of Kotor will get the first adventure park, in Vrbanj, at the foot of Mount Orjen, thanks to this project.
“The implementation will start on 1 July and the project should be finalized in 30 months,” the press release says.
The Adriatic Canyoning project is expected to boost the development of tourism in the Adriatic hinterlands.
The park will have three levels of platforms with different bridges and obstacles, as well as a playground for children.
