Volume of investments in fixed assets in the field of tourism amounted to $25 million, said Chairman of the Tourism Department of Kyrgyzstan Azamat Jamankulov during the video conference on attraction of tourists to Kyrgyzstan and preparation for the opening of the tourist season, Tazabek reported.
The number of tourists in Kyrgyzstan reached 4 million and the tourism sector achieve positive results in GDP volumes, he said.
“Export of tourist services is also positive and totaled $5 million,” said Jamankulov.
He also told about the fairs and exhibitions abroad where Kyrgyzstan takes part in to develop its tourism. He said Kyrgyzstan took part in expos in Moscow, Turkey, Berlin in 2017.
