Agricultural Input Price Index in Turkey increased by 12.64% in October 2020 compared to same month of the previous year

Agricultural Input Price Index, October 2020

Agriculture-PPI (2015=100) increased by 2.74% compared to previous month, increased by 10.82% compared to December of the previous year, increased by 12.64% compared to same month of the previous year and increased by 8.62% compared to twelve months averages, in October 2020.

Monthly changes with respect to previous month by main groups, goods and services contributing to agricultural investment index increased by 2.41% and goods and services currently consumed in agricultural index increased by 2.79%. The goods and services currently consumed in agricultural index increased by 12.18% and goods and services contributing to agricultural investment index increased by 15.46% compared to same month of the previous year.

The highest annual decrease was realized 3.61% in veterinary expenses subgroup

The other subgroups that indicated a decrease were energy; lubricants with 1.16% and seeds and planting stock with 0.12% amongst the subgroups. On the other hand, maintenance of materials with 30.58% and animal feedingstuffs with 20.18% were the subgroups where high annual increases realized.

The lowest monthly increase was 0.78% in plant protection and pesticides subgroup

In October 2020, the other subgroup that indicated an increase was other goods and services with 1.46%. On the other hand, maintenance of materials with 4.04%, seeds and planting stock with 3.71%, and fertilizer and soil improvers with 3.68% were the subgroups where high monthly increases realized.
