The total number of road motor vehicles registered to the traffic reached 22 million 679 thousand 584 by the end of June. Within the total, cars represented 54.3%, followed by small trucks 16.4%, motorcycles 13.9%, tractors 8.2%, trucks 3.8%, minibuses 2.1%, buses 1% and special purpose vehicles 0.3%
.In June, 64 341 road motor vehicle registrations were recorded
Within 64 thousand 341 vehicle registrations in June, cars accounted for 52.9%, followed by motorcycles 26.6%, small trucks 11.4% and tractors 5.3%. Minibuses, buses, trucks and special purpose vehicles constituted 3.8% of new registrations.
The number of road motor vehicle registrations decreased by 35.9% compared with the previous month
In June, the number of road motor vehicle registrations decreased by 35.9% compared with the previous month. Cars, minibuses, small trucks, trucks, motorcycles, special purpose vehicles and tractors decreased by 39%, 72.6%, 50.4%, 42.3%, 16.5%, 21.2% and 30.4% respectively. Buses increased by 16.2%.
The number of road motor vehicles registered decreased by 32.7% compared with the same month of the previous year
In June, the number of road motor vehicle registrations decreased by 32.7% compared with the same month of the previous year. Cars, minibuses, small trucks, trucks, special purpose vehicles and tractors decreased by 41.8%, 52.3%, 38.2%, 8.9%, 71.9% and 39.5% respectively. Buses and motorcycles increased by 24% and 3.7%.
In the period of January-June, the total number of road motor vehicles in traffic increased by 460 639
While 76 thousand 277 road motor vehicles were withdrawn, 536 thousand 916 road motor vehicles were added in January-June period. Hence, the total number of road motor vehicles registered increased by 460 thousand 639.
617 217 road motor vehicles handed over in June
Among 617 thousand 217 vehicles handed over(1), cars accounted for 71.8% followed by small trucks 15.1%, motorcycles 6.3% and tractors 2.3%. Minibuses, buses, trucks and special purpose vehicles constituted 4.5% of the handed over motor vehicles in June.
The ratio of cars registered using LPG was 38.1%
At the end of June, among 12 million 313 thousand 637 registered cars, the share of LPG-fuelled cars was 38.1% followed by diesel-fuelled cars with 36.1% and gasoline-fuelled cars with 25.4%. The ratio of the cars with unknown(2) fuel type was 0.4%.
In June, 34 016 cars were registered to the traffic
In terms of the distribution of trademarks for the 34 thousand 16 new registered cars in June, Renault recorded 15.8%, Volkswagen 10.4%, Fiat 8.4%, Peugeot 8.2%, Hyundai 7%, Ford 6.7%, Mercedes-Benz 5%, Honda 4.9%, Dacia 4.7%, Toyota 4.4% and the other trademarks 24.6% of the total.
Most frequent engine size was 1501-1600 for registered cars
Within 310 thousand 964 cars registered to traffic in January-June period, 43.2% of them had engine size 1501-1600, 27.6% had 1401-1500, 12.9% had 1300 or less, 11.4% had 1301-1400, 4.1% had 1601-2000, 0.9% had 2001 and above engine size.
Most frequent colour was white for registered cars
Within 310 thousand 964 cars registered to traffic in January-June period, 56.6% of them were white, 21.1% were grey, 7.5% were black, 5.4% were red and 9.4% were in other colours.

(1) Road motor vehicles handed over are that the owners of them had changed through the notaries for one time or more.
(2) Unknown includes the cars for which the type of fuel field in the license was entered incorrectly or left blank and electric cars.
