Employees who started working until 8.9.1999 can receive a letter from the Social Security Institution stating that they are entitled to severance pay if they complete 15 years of insurance and 3600 premium days, and they can receive severance pay from their last place of employment even if they resign.
Those who started working between 09.09.1999 and 30.04.2008 must complete 4500 premium days. Women and men who have more than 1261 days of their insurance in the last 7 years, namely 3.5 years, from the 4/1-a status (formerly known as SSK); can partially retire under the 4/1-a (SSK) with 4500 premium days and 25 years of insurance and can also receive severance pay.
