Number of paid employees increased by 6.6% annually
Number of paid employees including industry, construction, trade-services sectors increased by 6.6% in February 2023 compared with the same month of the previous year. While the number of paid employees was 13 million 614 thousand 855 in the same month of the previous year, it became 14 million 515 thousand 554 in February 2023.
When sub-sectors are examined; number of paid employees in industrial sector increased by 4.2%, in construction sector increased by 15.4% and in trade-services sector increased by 6.7% annually.

Number of paid employees including industry, construction, trade-services sectors remained same in February 2023 compared with the previous month.
When sub-sectors are examined; number of paid employees in industrial sector increased 0.1%, in construction sector and in trade-services sector remained same monthly.

Calendar effect has not been observed in number of paid employees. Therefore unadjusted series are used instead of calendar adjusted series.
Monthly changes refer to the changes of seasonally adjusted values compared to the previous month.
