Chicken meat production was 196 thousand 590 tonnes, hen egg production was 1.7 billion units
Number of the slaughtered chicken increased by 14.5%, chicken meat production increased by 14%, turkey meat production increased by 13.1% and hen egg production decreased by 1.1% in October compared with the same month of the previous year. Chicken meat production increased by 3.2%, number of the slaughtered chicken increased by 1.4%, hen egg production decreased by 2.2% and turkey meat production decreased by 16% in the January-October period compared with the same period of the previous year.
